Audi is recalling some 2017 Q7 airbags because they can "deploy with too much force and injure occupants" which sort of defeats the point. It's just another day, another set of Audi airbags that are doing more harm than good.

About the Recall

  • The issue affects any 2017 Q7 built between 08/30/2015 and 05/08/2016.
  • According to Audi, the issue can be fixed by a simple software update and no changes to the airbags will need to be made.
  • Unfortunately, you'll still need to go to the dealership to get the update. Not so simple, after all.
